I'm Three!!!

June 23, 2009...I'm three years old today!!! I am growing up so fast. I am still a happy and sometimes shy little boy. I love BASEBALL - playing it and watching it with Daddy; "Cars" and anything to do with the movie; the TV show "The Backyardigans", especially Tyrone; construction equipment; building with blocks; Reesey; going to the pool and jumping in all by myself; reading books with Mommy & Daddy; going to the library; going to the YMCA and playing with Ainsley; all my friends; being with my family; playing at my sand & water table; doing things all by myself; and having fun. I do not like fireworks; going to the potty; getting my hands dirty; going to time out; having crazy hair - I like it combed; when Reesey takes my toys; and taking a shower, when I'd rather be playing. I like to wear my Cincinnati Cubs baseball jersey, a baseball cap, black socks pulled up high, and my fast shoes all the time. This is what real baseball players wear, in case you were wondering. I am always carrying my baseball glove around with me, and I always want to wear a baseball cap. My favorite foods are ice cream, granola bars, Cars vitamins, hummus, lemonade, chicken, and any kind of cracker. Donuts (the munchkins from Dunkin Donuts) are my favorite treat. My favorite books are any books about baseball; Berenstain Bear books; Franklin books; Jesse Bear, What Will You Wear?; Home Run; National Geographic Kids magazine; Animal Baby magazine; Cars book; and any books about trucks & diggers. I am very inquisitive and ask questions about everything..."where did you get that?", "how do you do that?", "what's that guys name?", etc. I also say funny things like..."Oh, sure" and "Oh, thanks" and "I'm exhausted." Now that I'm three, I am giving up my pacis. I'm such a big boy, and I am very loved. Happy Birthday to me! (Mommy totally forgot my monkey pictures today).

My Birthday Party...Take One...

June 20, 2009...I had one of my birthday parties today. I am going to be 3 years old in 3 days. This party was a family party. I couldn't wait to open my presents. I opened them pretty much immediately after the party started. I had fun playing with all of my new toys, and I also had fun playing baseball with everyone after cake and ice cream. Nana came from Michigan and Uncle Mark & Aunt Kathy came from Ohio...all to help me celebrate. I had a blast!

June 15, 2009...Mommy took Roo & me to the park today. We BOTH fit into the swing. I had so much fun swinging with him. Here are some pictures and a video.

Potty!!!

June 14, 2009...I went "pee pee" on the potty for the first time today! Daddy & Mommy rewarded me with Mack Semi (from the movie "Cars"). I said, "I am so proud of me!"

Cookout...

June 13, 2009...Mommy & her Salem friends had a baby shower for Mommy's friend, Ms. Caroline. Then, that evening, Mommy's friends and their families came over for a cookout. I had fun playing with everyone...especially playing baseball!!!

My Baseball Jersey...

June 10, 2009...Here I am in my Cincinnati Reds baseball jersey. Uncle Mark got it for me for my birthday last year. Now that I am really into baseball, I want to wear it all the time. I even wear black socks like real baseball players do. Lately, it is rare to see me without my Big House baseball cap and my very own glove.

Playdate with Ainsley

June 9, 2009...I had a playdate with my friend Ainsley today. After our mommies worked out at the Y, she came over to my house. We played inside and outside, and we even had some watermelon. Then, we went to the pool together. It was really fun! I hope she'll come over again soon.

Camp Kick-off...

June 7, 2009...Here I am at the YMCA for camp orientation. I am going to camp this summer in August. Mommy was really excited about the orientation because I am going to a camp that she went to when she was younger. She used to have assemblies in this shelter, and she was even a camp counselor here, too. I think camp is going to be fun! I got to meet some of the counselors, pitch my baseball to them, and have a hot dog & chips for dinner.
