I'm 32 Months Old!

February 23, 2009...I am now 32 months old...getting close to being three! You wouldn't believe it just by looking at my sweet pictures, but I can definitely challenge my parents. I don't always do what they ask, especially when I'm doing what I want to do. I guess that's what being two is all about! :)


I am still a sweet and shy (when in public) little boy. I am happy and love my family very much. I love to see my friends at the library and the park. The friends I see most are Camden, Eli, Luke, Julia, and Ainsley. I love to play with my trucks. I could do this all day long if Mommy & Daddy let me. I also love to read/listen to books. I could also do this all day long. I love going to the library to pick out new books and get the ones that Mommy requested for me. My current favorites are Meet Jack Truck; Smash Crash; I Spy books; Digger Man; Machines at Work; any books about airplanes, big rigs, concrete mixers, street cleaners, diggers, construction & farm equipment, and combines; Zoom; My Big Book of Things that Go; Over in the Ocean in the Coral Reef; and This Truck. I love playing outside; going to Grammy & Grandpa's house; visiting Nana & Nano; watching "Little Bear" every morning and having my granola bar; playing football and soccer, esp. doing headers, with Daddy; hugging Reesey; playing with my trucks, diggers, and "airport trucks"; watching truck videos on youtube with Daddy; listening to my favorite songs in the car (currently Queen's "Don't Stop Me Now", Bon Jovi's "Livin' On A Prayer", and "Day-O"); doing puzzles; helping Mommy make smoothies; being silly; and eating snacks. My favorite snack is Cheddar Bunnies, and my favorite drink is "o.j." I am still in diapers, but I keep saying I'm going to try the potty & big boy underwear "tomorrow." I am an awesome big brother, and I love to help Mommy & Daddy take care of Reesey. Here are my monkey pics...

February 11, 2009...Here I am making Valentine cards for my family. I really wanted to make blue hearts this year since blue is my new favorite color. Mommy always paints my feet and makes footprint hearts. My size 8 feet are getting so big that they barely fit on the card!

February 10, 2009...Today, Mommy took Reese and me to pick out supplies for our Valentine's Day cards. I picked out pink heart paper, pink sparkley paper, and red and pink glitter. Here I am making some cards for my friends...

We have had some really warm weather lately. Mommy said it has been in the upper 60s and 70s. We've been going to lots of different parks. We took Daddy, too, on the weekend.

I Love Marbles!!!

February 6, 2009...Mommy took Reese & me to Marbles Children's Museum today. We met my new friend, Drew, and his mommy & brother, Will, there. I especially enjoyed playing with the Thomas trains, playing with the animal figurines, pushing around the wheelbarrow, watching the "Nemo" fish, racing some cars, and checking out the tools. We even had a picnic lunch there. It was awesome!

My Seventh Haircut...

January 24, 2009...I got my seventh haircut today, and I really needed one!!! This time I sat on the motorcycle.

I'm 31 Months Old...

January 23, 2009...I turned 31 months old today. I am such a big boy now. I like to do things all by myself...I want to be independent!!! Some things I can do all by myself...turn on my nightlight, turn on my fan, turn on some of my favorite songs on my CD player, open the refrigerator and get out a snack (esp. if there's pepperoni in there), put my silverware and plates in the dishwasher, get my plates and cups out of the drawer, drink out of a regular cup, and zip/unzip my coat and take it off. I also like to sit at the kitchen table in a "big boy chair" and NOT in my high chair. I love to play with my big dump truck and backhoe loader that Uncle Matt gave me for Christmas, my Little People, puzzles, my Leapfrog Clickstart computer, and my trains, which I call airport trucks (because I am still totally obsessed with the airport). I still love to be read to, and my current favorites are Jack's House; The Cat at Night; Combine Harvesters; Tough Trucks; Dig, Dig, Digging; Spot books - especially Spot Goes to a Party & Spot Sleeps Over; My Big Book of Trucks; Little People; and any books about construction/farm equipment and animals. When I wake up every morning, I turn off my nightlight and fan, go downstairs, ask for a granola bar and ask to watch "Little Bear" (which Mommy has DVRed). I have about 13 episodes taped, and I can tell you which one I want to watch and can even quote the characters in many of the episodes. At night my routine is...I turn on my nightlight and fan, turn on my "quiet music", find my pacis (yes, I still have them at night), get Mommy to wash my hands and face with a warm washcloth (since I take my baths in the morning now), read stories with Mommy, climb into bed all by myself, using my stool, and hold Little Bear. Mommy thinks I'm just like her because she likes routine, too. I like to...go to Grammy & Grandpa's house and watch "Spot" with Grammy & play with the airport and trains with Grandpa; go to the library to check out books and go to Rhyme Time; see my friends; play soccer, baseball, football, and basketball with Daddy; hug Reese; play with all my toys; go visit Nana & Nano and spend time at the airport; sing songs and dance; read books with Mommy; talk about job sites & construction; eat any kind of cracker, and watch "Little Bear." My current favorite songs are Bingo; Old MacDonald Has a Farm; Day-O; I Like to Move It, Move It; Bob the Builder; and the theme song from Mickey Mouse clubhouse (which I don't watch). I'm a good boy & LIFE IS GOOD!
