Sizzlin' Summer Safari...

August 10-14, 2009...I went to my very first camp this week...Kindercamp at the YMCA. The theme for the week was Sizzlin' Summer Safari. Mommy asked me about camp after my first day, and I said, "It was great!" I got to ride on the bus to the YMCA to go swimming two times. I learned lots of new songs. I played with my friends. I went on a safari. I played Ball Clean-up. I earned a bead bracelet for being on good behavior. I brought my snack to camp every day. It was so much fun!

My New Cousin...

August 7, 2009...I have a new cousin! His name is Michael Robert Austin. He was born this afternoon and is 8 lbs 7 oz and 19 1/2 inches long. His mommy & daddy are Auntie Lish and Uncle Michael. He is TJ's little brother. I get to meet him in October.

Potty Progress: Week Five...

August 6, 2009...I am now up to 140 stickers...only 10 to go for a surprise! I can't wait to find out what it is. I'm doing great!!! Mommy & Daddy are so proud of me.

Fun with Ainsley & Riley...

August 6, 2009...I had a playdate with Ainsley and Riley today. We had so much fun together. I even had lunch with them. When I was getting ready to leave, they gave me a blue heart from a necklace (they had just pulled apart). They told me that I can think of them when I hold the heart. (Mommy thinks this is priceless).

August 5, 2009...I got to take Reesey for a ride on my bike ("motorcycle bike") today. I loved this, and I think Reesey did, too.

August 4, 2009...Cousin Lindsey came over for dinner

and to play with us tonight. She is moving to Tennessee to

go to graduate school this fall. We had a lot of fun with her. Lindsey loves Greg Maddux, so I showed her my cool jersey.

August 4, 2009...One of Mommy's former students came over to see us today. Her name is Ella, and she was in Mommy's class when I was in Mommy's belly. She was fun to play with. Her daddy is my dentist.

Short Visit with Uncle Mark...

August 3, 2009...Uncle Mark stopped by for a short visit this morning. He was in town over night, and he stopped by to see us before heading back home.

August 1, 2009...Here I am playing soccer at the YMCA. I can follow the ball. I can't wait to start playing soccer on a soccer team in October!

Last Swim Lesson...

August 1, 2009...I had my last swim lesson today. I have now completed the "Pike" level, and I was awarded a certificate. I still need to work on my "big arms and big legs"...arm strokes and kicking. I really liked jumping in the pool. Blurry picture b/c of the steaminess on pool deck, but

July 31, 2009...Mommy took Reesey & me to the pool today. I got to play with my friend, Julia. I love to jump in the pool and swim around. I can jump in all by myself. It's the best! (Yes, I wore my sunglasses the whole time. Did you know that they have baseballs on the sides?)

Potty Progress: Week Four...

July 30, 2009...I have now been going on the potty for four weeks on a regular basis. I earned 32 stickers this week, bringing my total up to...114 stickers!!! I got to go to Chuck E. Cheese, and it was great. We are still deciding what I will earn the next time, once I've earned 150 stickers. I'll keep you posted...

Out & About...

July 30, 2009...Today we went to the mall to have lunch with Mommy's friend, Caroline. Afterwards, I wanted to walk around and see all the fountains. They have four really cool fountains, and I like to throw coins in them. Here we are with some duck statues that I really liked.
