August 28, 2007...I have figured out how to climb

into my lego table. Now, I want to do this all the

time. Who knows what I'll be climbing on/in next! Check me out...I can stand in it, too!

A Little Pool Time...

August 25, 2007...I went to the pool today with Mommy,

Camden, and his mommy, Ms. Karen. Check us out in our

cool floats in the baby pool. The pool was great!

My Trip to the Museum...

August 24, 2007...Mommy took me to the Museum of Natural Sciences. We went with some other babies and mommies. We went to Storytime first and heard a book about alligators. Then we got to touch two small alligators. I think Mommy was more scared of them than me. They were pretty cool. Here are two pictures of me and the alligators.

I'm 14 Months Old...

August 23, 2007...Hey everybody! I turned 14 months old today! My mommy can't believe I'm getting so big. Well, the most exciting thing that has happened in my life lately is that I'm WALKING!!! It is so much fun. I love to walk! I especially love to follow my mommy around everywhere she goes...from one room to the next. I still only have 4 teeth...but there are two slowly inching their way in on top. I still like to eat all the time...no new favorite foods recently. I love to be read to and look at books on my own. My current favorites are Curious George and the Rocket; Mommy, Carry Me Please; Quack, Quack; Frog in the Kitchen Sink; Pat the Bunny; My Puppy Friends; and Animal Kisses. I still love listening to music and being sung to. It makes me dance! My favorite songs are The Itsy Bitsy Spider; Head, Shoulders, Knees, & Toes; Hello, Everybody; and Bruce Springsteen's Pay Me My Money Down. I am always trying to get ahold of my stereo (so I can take the CD out), remote controls, Mommy & Daddy's phones and i-pods, and the computer & printer. They are pretty fascinating items, and it drives Mommy & Daddy crazy! I'm still not really talking yet, but I know what lots of things are. I have certain routines. When I wake up, I need to wave to all of my animals. I know them all by name. When Daddy comes home, he has to show me where Bo (his bobblehead Michigan coach) and Gnomie (a Michigan gnome) are so that I can wave to them. At night when it's bathtime, I like to climb the stairs, go into the bathroom, and press on the duckie's beak to hear him quack. I can wave, stick out my tongue, clap, dance, and pucker up to make kissing sounds on command. I am especially into waving at everyone and everything. I love to play peekaboo and cover up my face with my hands. I also like to hide things, and then put my hands up as if to say, "Where did it go?" I love to take things out of containers, drawers, the dishwasher, and the hamper, and then put them back. I can really throw a ball. I am learning so many things every day. The world is so amazing! My Trip to East Hampton...

August 17-22, 2007...I went to visit Auntie Jo Jo, Uncle Mike, and cousin Charlie with Mommy and Daddy in East Hampton, New York. They are renting a house there for the summer. We went sightseeing, shopping, out to lunch, to the beach, and even got in their pool. We had a lot of fun visiting them, and I especially liked being around Charlie. He is a real character, and he is always smiling (and trying to get my paci). Here are some pictures from my trip.

Daddy's Birthday Celebration...

August 14, 2007...We celebrated my daddy's birthday

a day early this year with a trip to 42nd Street

Oyster Bar. Here I am with Daddy, Mommy, Grammy,

Grandpa, Uncle Matt, and his girlfriend, Sara. We

had a nice dinner together. I LOVE my daddy! I really love my grandpa! (I'm getting pretty

tired here...past my bath & bedtime).
I really love seeing Sara and Uncle Matt. They're fun!

What I've Been Up To Lately...

SORRY it has taken Mommy so long to update my

blogspot. As you will see below, we have been pretty

busy these last few weeks!!!

August 13, 2007...Here I am with Raines. I went over

to her house to visit with her family. My mommy

taught Raines' brother in first and second grade. August 12...Cutie in the bathtub!!!

August 10, 2007...I went to Abby's birthday party!!!

students when she was pregnant with me.

July 30-August 10, 2007...My mommy babysat Erin

& Cameron again for two more weeks. They like to

teach me new things and sing to me and play with me.

Erin and Cameron took me to Build-a-Bear to get a puppy

for my birthday!!!! It was my first time there. I liked it all

except when they stuffed Perry. That was too loud.

all went to the pool together. Mommy was Meredith's

teacher when she was pregnant with me.

August 7...I love getting into small spaces. Somehow
I got behind this table, and if you look at the next

picture, you'll see what a challenge that was!Just sittin' on the speaker.

August 4-5, 2007...I went to Lake Gaston with some

of Mommy & Daddy's friends. I went on my first boat

ride, and I even tried pancakes. I got to get in the lake

in my float. I had so much fun. Here are some pictures.

ride was very relaxing.

July 29, 2007...I had my friend, Camden, over for a

playdate. He likes the Wolverines, too. It is a

blast to play with your friends.

July 28, 2007...I went to a Mudcats baseball game

with Daddy and Mommy and some friends. We had

really great seats, and it was tons of fun! I even

have my very own Mudcats baseball cap!!!

July 25-26, 2007...I love playing with my toys and reading.

Even playing with the chip bag is lots of fun (bottom pic).
