Fun in the Sand Video...

Having fun throwing sand balls in the water in Hilton Head...

Hilton Head, SC

May 23-31, 2008...I took my first trip to Hilton Head, South Carolina. I had a great time with Daddy, Mommy, Grammy, Grandpa, Auntie Jo Jo, Uncle Mike, Charlie, Uncle Matt & Sara! I spent lots of time playing at the beach, playing in the pool, and playing with my family. We had really nice weather the entire time, and I had fun listening to the bullfrogs at night. I liked looking for turtles, goldfish, and egrets. Here are some pictures from my awesome trip! I'm ready to go back there next year.

I'm 23 Months Old!!!

May 23, 2008...Hey everybody, can you believe I'll be two years old next month? Mommy and Daddy can't! I am still a happy and well-behaved little boy. I am currently into saying "no" a lot more than before, especially when asked if I want a certain food to eat. I guess I really will be two soon. I love to talk and sing. I still like to sing "Twinkle Twinkle", the ABC's, "Itsy Bitsy Spider", and "Wheels on the Bus." 2 new songs I've been singing lately are "Old MacDonald", "Hurry, Hurry, Drive the Firetruck," and "Patty Cake." I also like to copy what you say. I really like playing with my cars, trucks, trains, and Little People. My favorite toys are two of my Little People, my yellow truck, and my yellow bus. My favorite books are Dig, Dig, Digging; My Big Truck Book; Trucks; The Very Hungry Caterpillar; Mr. Big Brother; Happy Thanksgiving, Biscuit; and Michigan Wolverines, 123. I'm still totally into sports (like my daddy), and since it's baseball season, that's my new favorite. I've also been trying to learn to play golf. Daddy and Mommy have taken me to three baseball games this year. I love going to Grammy & Grandpa's, going for walks in my stroller, going to the park, going to Rhyme Time at the library, getting a balloon at the grocery store (and bread samples), chasing Daddy around the room, playing with my toys, looking at my blogspot and pictures of family and friends, and being read & sung to. Here are some pictures of me on my 23rd month birthday...

Saturday, May 17, 2008...Daddy & Mommy took Grammy, Grandpa, and me to the Durham Bulls baseball game. I love going to the baseball game. I had fun watching Wool E. Bull and Lucky the Dog. I pretty much ate the entire game...a "granola bar", Goldfish, popcorn, and a hotdog!!! YUMMY! I can't wait to go to another game. Go BULLS!!!

Fun with my Family...

May 9-12, 2008...I had a busy weekend with lots of family. Nana and Nano came to visit from Michigan for the weekend. Here are some pictures from my weekend...

May 9...We picked Nana and Nano up from the
airport and headed to the park for a picnic. Grammy
& Grandpa joined us at the park. Mommy and Grammy
made fried chicken, potato salad, fruit salad, and
cookies. Here I am on the slide with Nana & Nano
(and Grammy in the background). A little boy
really wanted to go down the slide right after me! At the park...
Pitching to Nano...
May 10...Daddy, Mommy, Nana, Nano, & I went to
the Spring Sprint at the school where Mommy used
to teach. Daddy ran the 5K race, and the rest of us
walked it. I was lucky enough to be pushed the whole
hilly way. This was my 3rd time doing the Spring
Sprint (...the first, I was in Mommy's belly).

Uncle Matt came by so we could celebrate his

birthday on Saturday night. I love Uncle Matt!

May 11...Here I am with my cousin, Lindsey. We

went to a party at her house to celebrate her

graduation from UNC-C!!! Go Lindsey! I really

liked playing with her cat, Nicholas!

Here we are at Lindsey's party...Gigi, Daddy, Nana,

Mommy, Nano, & me.

I love Gigi!!!
I also love my cousin, Kathryn.

Taking Time to Stop and Smell the Flowers...

May 7, 2008...Grandpa took some pictures of me
in the flowers at their house. Mommy just had to
put them on my blogspot.

After a playdate at my friend
Eli's house, I had to check out all of the
cool flowers in his front yard. Perfect
photo opportunity for Mommy.

Baseball Game...

May 3, 2008...Daddy and Mommy took me to a Mud Cats baseball game. I had a great time. I got to see Muddy! He was really cool. I ate a hamburger, fries, and a couple bites of ice cream. I loved watching the pitcher and the players running the bases. I'm pretty serious about baseball, just like my daddy.
