Thanksgiving in the Big Apple...

November 25-30, 2009...Yes, I got to spend Thanksgiving in New York City this year!!!!! We had a great time. I especially enjoyed being with my cousins, Charlie & Crosby, and Grammy, Grandpa, Uncle Matt, Auntie Jo Jo, Uncle Mike, Uncle Mark, Aunt Kathy, Daddy, Mommy, and Reesey. Thanks for a great Thanksgiving, Uncle Mike & Auntie Jo Jo!!!
November 25, 2009...Waiting patiently for our flight to leave!
As soon as we got there, I played with Crosby.
Charlie was still at school.
I had a blast riding Charlie's scooter all around, and I
especially liked wearing his Backyardigans helmet & knee pads.
November 26, 2009...Thanksgiving Day. We took a ride on
the subway and walked around the Village while waiting for
the turkey to cook. I liked riding on the subway!

Christmas Village...

November 24, 2009...I love seeing the Christmas Village display at Michaels when we go there to get Mommy's painting supplies. I was so excited to find out that Grammy & Grandpa have one of their own. Grandpa and I spent some time together setting it up. I loved it, and Grandpa said that I said, "Wow!" every time he got another piece of the village out of the box. Look at our masterpiece!

My Thanksgiving Program & VIDEO...

November 24, 2009...My class had a Thanksgiving program for all the mommies and daddies. We made them blueberry muffins and had orange juice to drink. Then we sang a turkey song. Here I am with a couple of the students in my class...Emma, Elise, Ian, and me. Some of my friends didn't want to sing or have their picture taken. Some of my friends were absent because they were already out of town for Thanksgiving. Ian & me...

Here we are singing "I'm a Great Big Turkey"...

I'm Forty-One Months Old!!!

November 23, 2009...I am now 41 months old...getting very close to 3 1/2! I love going to school and seeing my teachers and friends. My two favorite friends are Will and Drew, even though I really like everyone so much in our class. I am very well behaved there. I also love playing with all my cars from the movie "Cars." This month I've really been into imaginative play, making my cars, stuffed animals, and toys talk to one another. I can talk for hours. I can especially talk about "Cars" and have the majority of the movie memorized. I can also tell you which Targets around our city carry the cars that I like and need. I am really into dinosaurs right now, too. My favorite TV show is "Dinosaur Train", though I still like "The Backyardigans" and "Little Bear." Even Mommy agrees that "Dinosaur Train" is a great show. I have dinosaur figurines that Grammy gave me, and I love to play with them. I still love to read books with Mommy, and my current favorites are Richard Scarry's The Best Mistake Ever and Cars and Trucks and Things that Go; any other Richard Scarry books; Popcorn; The Runaway Pumpkin; books by Arnold Lobel (Owl at Home and Frog and Toad books); and books about dinosaurs and animals and anything funny. My favorite foods are any kind of crackers, granola bars, chicken, "hot buttered toast", eggs, oranges, apples, grapes, and Danimals yogurt smoothies (since my friend, Drew, always brings them to school), and I love to eat snacks! I love my little brother, Reesey, but I don't like it when he tries to play with or mess up my toys. He is always doing that now that he can walk! I love to sing; read books with Mommy; watch "Cars" Mater videos on the computer with Daddy; play Wii with Daddy; look at cars from the movie "Cars" on the computer with Daddy; chase and play with Reese; play outside; play any kind of sport; watch football with Daddy (and ask a million questions about the game...team names, player names, etc.); earn "Cars" toys for going to the bathroom; eat samples and snacks at the grocery store; get into the fridge to find my own snack; go to Grammy & Grandpa's house to play with their toys, especially upstairs; see Uncle Matt; ride my bike; talk on the phone to people in our family; and do crafts with Mommy. I'm a good boy, and I am very loved.

November 16, 2009...A nice warm Fall day! I played outside with Reesey. I am trying to teach him how to play baseball. I also had fun making Cars sand cars with the molds Auntie Jo Jo gave me for my birthday. I made Lightning McQueen, Mater, and Doc Hudson!
