Charlie's Visit...

March 30, 2008...My cousin, Charlie, came here from New York City to visit for the weekend. I was coming home from Mexico, so I only got to spend a few hours with him on Sunday. He is just about 18 months old, and he's learned to walk since I've last seen him. It took me a while to get used to him being at Grammy and Grandpa's house. He's lots of fun after a while! He is very happy and always smiling, like T.J.

Playa del Carmen, Mexico...

Daddy and Mommy took me to Playa del Carmen, Mexico, for my first big vacation March 22-29, 2008. We met Nana, Nano, Uncle Michael, Auntie Lish, and my cousin, T.J., there. It was awesome! I got to go to the pool and the beach every single day! Here are lots of pictures from my trip.

I'm 21 Months Old!!!

Hey everybody! I turned 21 months old on March 23 while vacationing in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. So, sorry to tell you that I didn't get my usual monkey picture taken. You'll have to wait until next month. The biggest change from last month is my vocabulary. I am talking so much more. Some of my new words/phrases are...ice in cup, blue, green, chalk, cow, pacifier, crocodile, push-ups, pig, pillow, red, walk, dinosaur, eskimo kiss, chicken wings, diaper, diaper change, Mickey Mouse diaper, purple crocs, all aboard choo choo, thank you mama, helicopter, motorcycle, and ladder golf. I am putting two and three words together now. Mommy and Daddy still don't always understand what I'm trying to say, but it's getting easier. I still love music and books. My current favorites are any books with Clifford; my set of transportation books; Happy Thanksgiving, Biscuit; Polar Bear, Polar Bear, What do you Hear?; Trucks; Jesse Bear What Will You Wear?; and Designed by God so I Must Be Special. I'm still a good eater. I love to drink my smoothies and eat eggs, mango, avocado, chicken, mac & cheese, crackers, bread, applesauce, and yogurt. Those are my favorites. I always ask for ice in my cup. I'm starting to get some new teeth. My favorite things to do are go for walks, watch Curious George, Clifford, and Tigger and Pooh, play basketball with Grammy and Grandpa, play outside with a tennis ball and ladder golf with Daddy, get purple balloons from the grocery store, read books, be sung to, get tickled, go to the park, go to the library for Rhyme Time, and go out to lunch with Mommy and our friends. Can you believe I'll be 2 years old in 3 months???

More March Pics...

March 14, 2008...Just woke up from my nap!
Mommy took me to watch the Tarheels at
Grammy & Grandpa's house today. I had fun playing.
I climbed into this chair all by myself.

I enjoy feeding myself oatmeal. Mommy went into the other
room to put some toys away, and I kept eating. When she came
back, I had oatmeal all over me...in my hair, on my face, on
my jammies, and all over the tray. I looked at Mommy
and simply said, "Mess." I thought this was pretty funny.Bathtime, after my oatmeal mess.

March 13, 2008...It was 75 degrees today. I enjoyed
playing with some chalk at the park with my friend, Camden.
Check out my new purple crocs!

I got chalk all over myself!

Sharing (except for the purple) chalk with Camden.
Purple is my very favorite color.

Some New March Pictures...

We've had awesome weather so far in March! Several 70 degree days. We've been taking advantage of it...going to the park every day, taking walks, and wearing shorts and short-sleeved shirts! Mommy's got spring fever!
March 6, 2008...Lots of pictures from today.
I can still do touchdown! I got hurt just a little bit. What a sad face!
Playing with Camden (and eating a cracker).

What a cutie!!!
At the park...check out this cool car! The owner
let me ride around in it for a little bit. I wish
Mommy would get me one!

Walking home from the park with Grammy.
March 5, 2008...Mommy couldn't resist taking

Here I am discovering chalk!

March 1, 2008...Mommy took me to one of her former
