I'm Forty-Three Months Old!

January 23, 2010...I'm now 3 years and 7 months old. Mommy is already worried that I'll be in kindergarten before she knows it. I've grown this month and look taller! I am really into the Christmas village at Grammy & Grandpa's house. I am so into it that Nana, Grammy, Grandpa, and Mommy have helped me create my own Christmas village in my room. I didn't have to take it down after Christmas! I go to bed each night with the lights on in the village. I hope to add a new piece to it next year. I also really love to play football with Daddy and have imaginary football games with my dinosaurs and wooden horses. If Mommy or Daddy misses a play, they can watch my "replay." I like to play Wii with Mommy & Daddy, and I am very good at table tennis. I still love my cars and playing with my airplane stuff. I love all of my stuffed animals, and I love to categorize/organize them so that they are in groups with their family (monkeys, bears, ducks, penguins, cats, dogs, just to name a few). Some of my favorite foods right now are cantaloupe, popcorn, grapes, snacks, smoothies, Danimal yogurt, "hot buttered toast", and chicken & pork. My favorite books right now are Olivia books, My Maize & Blue Day, and Cars & Trucks & Things that Go and most other Richard Scarry books. My current favorite songs are "Bulldozer" from my construction CD and "I Get Around" by the Beach Boys. I'm starting to get back into "Centerfield" and "Go Cubs Go!" My favorite TV shows are "Olivia" and "Dinosaur Train." Mommy is starting to teach me to read, and Daddy is helping to enforce it by helping me review my sight words before bedtime. I have two stories that I can read all by myself. What do I love...SPORTS, playing sports with Daddy, seeing people in my family, going over to Grammy & Grandpa's house, going to school-learning and being with my friends, meeting my friend Julia for lunch, checking books out at the library, reading books with Mommy, playing with Reesey on his Leapfrog train, playing with my stuffed animals, getting samples at the grocery store while shopping, staying up later than Reese so I can be with just Daddy & Mommy, and PLAYING (which is what I want to do every day).
