I'm 18 Months Old!!!

Hey everyone! I turned 18 months old on Sunday, December 23. That means I'm a year and a half now!!! Time really flies. I have been talking a lot more lately. Some of my favorite words to say are basketball, football, hot, cheers, bye-bye, Mama, and Dada. I can say lots of other words, too. I still love to eat. Not really any new favorite foods...just the regulars (smoothies, cheese, blueberry applesauce, broccoli, eggs, guacamole). I'm currently into reading...Trucks; Baseball 1,2,3; Dig, Dig, Digging (a book about trucks); Puppies; Frosty the Snowman; and my regular favorites. The newest thing I'm into is playing basketball at Grammy & Grandpa's house. I have my very own basketball goal, and I can really shoot some baskets. I like to pass the ball to everyone before shooting. I even get to watch a Clifford basketball show at Grammy & Grandpa's, too. I LOVE going to the park, hugs & kisses, being read to, being chased and tickled, carrying around my snack in my snack cup, playing basketball, taking a bath, getting a balloon at the grocery store, watching big kids, dogs & cats, cars & trucks, going to the airport, going to Grammy & Grandpa's, crawling up the stairs, listening to my favorite songs, going on walks, and helping my mom sweep the kitchen. I have 12 teeth now...4 molars are in. Life is still good!

Mommy took me to see Santa on December 21. I was a big boy, and I didn't even cry this year. Santa was pretty cool...even Mommy thought he was a good Santa.

Duke vs. Michigan...

On Saturday, December 8, 2007, we got to go to the Duke/Michigan basketball game! It was awesome! I enjoyed eating and watching the Cameron Crazies and all the basketball action! I LOVE basketball...and no, I haven't been converted to a Duke fan!

My Trip to Holland, Michigan...

November 30-December 2, 2007...I went to Holland, Michigan, to visit Nana and Nano (Daddy's parents). We got to fly on a plane, which is one of my favorite things. I love to go to the airport. I must have remembered flying to Michigan in September because I went right to the same spot at the airport to watch the planes, trucks, vans, and people go by. We did lots of fun things in Holland...I went to the Wild Chef for dinner, looked at Christmas lights, saw Santa at the mall, played with tons of cool toys, played in the SNOW!!!, and spent lots of time with Nana and Nano. Here are some pictures from my fun weekend!!! (It was FREEZING in Michigan).

Grammy's Birthday...

I helped Grammy celebrate her birthday on November 26 by going out to lunch with her to Firebird's. I had fun sharing lunch with Grammy and Mommy. I love Grammy so much!!! Here are a few pics from our lunch. Grammy & I can make the same face!

I'm 17 Months Old!!!

Hey everyone! I turned 17 months old on Friday, November 23. I am learning new words every day. I'm still pretty quiet in general (and still LOVE my paci), but I can say touchdown, football, bye bye, cool, cheers, and lots of other words. My favorite word to say is hot. I also like to count things and try to say 1, 2, 3, 4... I am still a good eater, and I really gobble up eggs, cheese, smoothies, yogurt, and broccoli. I've got two new teeth coming in...so I have 10 teeth now. I love to listen to music, especially a CD that Mommy made me. I really love the songs "Rock-a-bye Your Bear," "The Wheels on the Bus," "Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes," and "The Itsy Bitsy Spider." I love to dance and do the motions. I love to read books. My current favorites are Dig, Dig, Digging; Created by God so I Must be Special; The Wheels on the Bus; Brown Bear, Brown Bear; I Know an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Pie; and Peekaboo Kisses. I still love to play with cars and trucks, and now I've enjoyed playing on my train table! I still LOVE bathtime, hugs, kisses, being tickled, playing ladder golf, being outside, playing with Daddy, watching football, being read to, making a mess, and eating!!! Life is GREAT! Giving Monkey a kiss!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

November 22, 2007...Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I celebrated my second Thanksgiving at home this year. Last year I was in the Big Apple. We spent a lot of time outside because it was really warm...in the seventies. I ate turkey, sweet potatoes, yeast rolls, and a little stuffing. I even got to have a little pumpkin pie!!! That was the best! I had dinner with Daddy, Mommy, Grammy, Grandpa, Uncle Matt, Sara, and our friends, Charlie and Nancy. (Auntie Jo Jo, Uncle Mike, and Charlie had to go to New Mexico to see Charlie's grandpa.) Here are some pictures of my fun day! Future quarterback???

How We Celebrated Grandpa's Birthday...

November 20, 2007...For Grandpa's birthday, he wanted to take me to get my second haircut. Mommy, Grandpa, and I went back to J.J.'s Kids Cuts, where I got my first haircut. Grandpa even bought me a fire engine after we were finished. Then we treated him to lunch for his birthday. We had lots of fun!

Wednesday, November 14, 2007...It was a beautiful day today. It was really warm, around 75 degrees. Mommy took me on a walk to the park.
