April 27, 2008...I got to color with paint markers for the first time today. It was so much fun!

I LOVE Baseball!!!

April 26, 2008...Daddy and Mommy took me to the park today. However, I was much more interested in checking out the baseball field, running the bases, and pitching. Here are some pictures and a video for you to check out. Check out my form!

Visit to Mommy's Old School...

April 24, 2008...Mommy took me to visit some of her students that she taught when she was pregnant with me. I loved watching and playing with all the big kids.

I'm 22 Months Old!!!

Hey everyone! I turned 22 months old on Wednesday, April 23! That means I'll be two years old in only two months!!! Mommy and Daddy can't believe it. I've got four new teeth coming through...so now I'm up to 16 teeth. I'm talking up a storm. I can pretty much copy anything you say, and I'm saying lots and lots of new words. I really love to sing, and I am singing my ABC's constantly. I can also sing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star," "The Wheels on the Bus," and "The Itsy Bitsy Spider." Mommy is trying to get me on video so you can hear me. I still love reading books...among my current favorites are Mr. Big Brother; Baseball; any Clifford book; Olivia books; I Stink (a book about a garbage truck); Planes; Trucks; and any books about animals, sports, or transportation. I am totally obsessed with transportation & construction equipment...airplanes, trucks, skateboards, buses, cars, taxicabs, diggers, fire engines, bulldozers, garbage & recycling trucks. When I am in the car with Mommy, I make sure to point them all out. I can also recognize different landmarks around town...the grocery store ("purple balloons"), Daddy's work, Mommy's old school, the library ("bubbles"), the park, and the bank ("Clifford stickers"). My favorite things to do are play with my cars, trucks, trains, and little people; eat snacks; play basketball and pitch my baseball; do puzzles; go to the park; go to Rhyme Time at the library; read books; sing songs; play in the bathtub; watch sports; watch big kids playing; walk places; go on vacations/trips; play with Grammy and Grandpa; and be with my family. My favorite color is still purple. I had a check-up at my doctor today, and I weigh 28.2 pounds and I'm 34 inches tall. I'm growing and learning so much every day! Life is good! My Trip to New York City...

April 18-20, 2008...Mommy took me to New York City to visit Auntie Jo Jo, Uncle Mike, and cousin Charlie. The trip was a birthday gift for Mommy from Auntie Jo Jo. We had a very fun time. I got to spend a lot of time with Charlie. Here are some pictures from our trip.

April 17, 2008...My uncle John came to visit us from Florida. He is Mommy's older brother. He is really cool and tried to teach me how to do the thumb's up sign. Once I warmed up to him, I had fun playing with him.

First Pictures of my New Sibling...

April 16, 2008...Mommy and Daddy took me to Mommy's ultrasound on Wednesday. Everything looks good with the new baby. I even got to watch the screen, too. Right now the baby weighs 9 ounces. Mommy thinks her belly is getting pretty big, but I haven't noticed. Mommy and Daddy don't want to know if I'm having a brother or a sister, so they didn't find out. Here are some pictures.

My Trip to Washington D.C.

April 11-13, 2008...Daddy and Mommy took me to Washington D.C. for the weekend. Daddy had a seminar on Saturday and Sunday, so Mommy and I tagged along for some fun. We had a great time, and Mommy and I took the metro all over! Here are some pictures from our trip...

April 12, 2008...Mommy took me to the National

Zoo while Daddy went to his seminar. We

took the metro to get there. I absolutely loved

the zoo! We ended up staying for 3 1/2 hours, and

I saw all kinds of animals. What a blast! I saw real pandas but got really close to this statue.
Happy the Hippo was so cool! He weighs 7000 pounds!

April 13, 2008...Mommy took me to the National Mall

for a little while in the morning while Daddy finished

his seminar. We saw some famous sites and even rode

the carosel! We also went to the National Air and
Space Museum. I loved the huge airplanes!

Birthday Party...

April 8, 2008...We celebrated Mommy's birthday (which was on Monday) at Grammy & Grandpa's house with Uncle Matt & Sara. Grammy made a really good dinner, and I got to try some cake with caramel icing and ice cream, too.

Playdate...

April 8, 2008...Mommy's friend Teresa and her baby, Zoe, came over to play. Zoe was born on January 4. Mommy and Teresa used to teach first grade together in 2001-2002. I liked Zoe and Teresa. Isn't she cute?
